    @kelgentry You can try adding more water. I use about a 50/50 ratio (not measured exactly). It is pretty thin. Also, be sure and condition your mats slightly by walking your hands up and down. It has been recommended that we do that with even brand new mats that also might be a little too sticky. I hope this helps. Thank you, Laurie

    Hi Laurie.
    I love your videos, I ran right out and bought everything needed. Cleaned my mats and put on the glue. One question, mine are too sticky. My paper is sticking to the mats. Should I add more water ?

    Just like to share that i use my baby wipes to clean off my mats it cleans them really well (fluff and bits)and has made them a little sticky too…do need to try this though but a really easy way to clean them.

    @flaxenhairedgirl …
    @flaxenhairedgirl These methods are great for several uses but my method will literally made your mat like new for MANY MANY uses and then just clean mat and reapply glue mixture. Sometimes just cleaning will make it sticky again! The mixture will last a long time. Mine is still good in my little tupperware bowl seen in my video. Thanks for your comment. That method works great for some but when I go scrapping I want my mat to last the night not just several uses. KWIM!

    Hey all… I found …
    Hey all… I found that goo gone sprayed all over, then scraped off clean and then dried, and then spray with re-positional adhesive like the “slice” spray, or Krylon Easy tack works great and allows several refurbs of old cricut mats. The krylon and slice sprays are at michaels and hobby lobby. I hope this helps! :)

    There …

    @cmouber
    There are other cricut owners that use a different type of glue but it HAS to be a repositional glue. The Tacky Glue is great as a glue but is not reusable. They do have it at my locals M’s and J’s but I know not all carry the same stuff. Be sure and really look yourself, if you haven’t already! They look at me like I am crazy whenever I ask about items. Or you could try ordering the Tack it Over and Over online. There are many that carry it.

    Are there other version of glue that I can use? I couldn’t fine the “over & over” one, and I got the Aleene’s tacky glue… it does not work. I looked all over my Joann’s & Michael’s, neither has the “over & over” one :(

    I found an Aleene …
    I found an Aleene product that is already diluted… “Aleene’s Reposition-it TACKY GLUE” It is repositionable, and you just spray it on. I found it for less than $5 for 4 oz. at Micheal’s. It is in a blue spray bottle, small enough to take with you to crops for a “quick sticky” retouch. Using the 2 of these togeher might be a great find!
    I tried making my own pop dots with this glue and it does work kinda. Let’s just say that I’ll still be buying pop dots!
